Michael Mazzarella
Owner-Operator
Michael was born and raised in Vero Beach and values his hometown and all it has to offer. He double majored in Business and Golf and Sports Turf Management and earned his degree from the College of Agriculture at the University of Florida. Michael started The Rustica alongside his wife, Krista, when the property was nothing more than a parcel of land. He has poured his heart into creating the beautiful location you see today. In his spare time, Michael enjoys spending time with his family, surfing, fishing, or any other activity that involves the great outdoors.
Krista Mazzarella
Owner-Operator, Venue and Vendor Coordination
Krista is a Florida native who made her way to the East Coast of Florida in 2013 when she married the love of her life. Krista is a certified Event and Wedding Coordinator who loves making sure her clients have an amazing experience from start to finish. She works diligently behind the scenes to answer all communications, coordinates with your vendor team, and helps create your perfect event timeline. Krista is also a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner and continues to work part-time in Aesthetics. She is a mother of three and enjoys spending her free time soaking in every moment she has with them.
Alyssa Blais
Wedding & Event Coordinator, Timeline Coordinator
Alyssa is a Vero Beach native and mother of three. She is a certified Event and Wedding Coordinator and has been in the wedding industry since 2018. Alyssa loves DIY and is great assisting clients who are budget-conscious create an affordable, yet breathtaking wedding day. She thrives on wedding day excitement and no matter the obstacle can be found calm, collective, and smiling. When she isn’t helping create amazing wedding day experiences, Alyssa can be found enjoying the beach, spending time with her husband and highschool sweetheart of 20 years, creating DIY home projects, and cooking for her family and friends.
